A complete list of the cookies and browser storage InviteNama uses, why we use them and how you can control them.

  • Essential cookies keep you signed in and protect your account.
  • Google Analytics cookies help us understand which pages and themes are useful.
  • Browser storage remembers small preferences, such as light or dark mode, on your device.
  • We do not set advertising cookies ourselves.
  • You can block or delete cookies in your browser at any time.

This summary is for convenience — the full text below is what applies.

1.What cookies and browser storage are

Cookies are small text files a website saves in your browser. “Local storage” and “session storage” are similar browser features that keep small pieces of information on your device. Session storage is cleared when you close the tab; local storage stays until you clear it. We use all three, as listed below.

2.Essential cookies

These keep you signed in and protect your account. The website cannot work properly without them, so they cannot be switched off on our side.

3.Analytics cookies

We use Google Analytics to understand which pages and themes people visit, so we can improve the website. Google sets the cookies below on our domain. Analytics is not loaded inside the small theme previews embedded on our pages.

You can block these cookies in your browser settings, or install Google’s Google Analytics opt-out add-on.

4.Browser storage we use

These items stay on your device. Apart from the visitor ID (sent to count visitors online), they are not sent to us.

5.Cookies set by other services

Some features load content from other companies, which may set their own cookies:

  • Google Sign-In — when you use “Continue with Google”, Google may set cookies on its own domains.
  • YouTube — background music on some invitations plays through an embedded YouTube player, which may set YouTube cookies.
  • Maps — venue maps on invitations may be loaded from Google Maps or OpenStreetMap.
  • WhatsApp — order and chat buttons open WhatsApp, which applies its own policies once you leave our website.

These cookies are controlled by those companies under their own privacy policies.

6.How to control cookies

Most browsers let you see, block and delete cookies and site data in their settings (often under “Privacy” or “Site settings”). Clearing site data also removes the local and session storage items above.

If you block essential cookies, you will not be able to sign in. Blocking analytics cookies does not affect how the website or your invitation works.

7.Changes and contact

We update this list when we add or remove cookies; the “Last updated” date shows the latest version. For how we handle personal data generally, see our Privacy Policy. Questions? Email support@invitenama.app.
